Airport Penger Service Agent/check-in training?

I'd like a complete change of career and have always loved airports. I enjoy working with people so I thought working in check-in/a penger service agent would be perfect for me. I'm 30 years old and have no qualifications in travel and tourism (but I do have qualifications) so I would need to be trained from scratch but searching online for PSA courses only shows me online/distance courses which I would prefer not to do I'd rather be trained in real life not behind a computer and I'm wary about handing out money for an online course which gives me a non-valid certificate at the end of it. I have a British pport and I'm willing to travel anywhere, at the moment I'm not tied to one place but I don't know where to start. Are there any PSA out there that could tell me where to begin?
