My Girlfriend Picked Her Ex who she has no feelings for over me... HELP?

It hurts to feel like you're second best to someone who claims they love you. But you have to remember that words aren't written in stone and that talk is cheap. Love is one of the most misused things in life. People unknowingly and knowingly abuse love. I definitely think that it's okay for two people to be friends after breaking up, however, if they decide to pick that person up after a break up, they're after a lot more than just friendship. I am friends with a few of my ex's, however, we are nothing more than friends. I have been dating the same guy for 2 years now, we are quite happy. Yes, he has his issues with me being friends with my ex's but he gets over it because what matters is how I TRULY feel. Making someone choose over something like that is frustrating and confusing for the person choosing. You probably seemed pushy to her, forcing her to make a decision she did not want to make. But girls, especially young girls, never know exactly what they want. She is still young and in the midst of making life changing decisions. But you have to go with your instincts, because your heart might beg you to go back to her, but your mind might be thinking the complete opposite. Relationships aren't easy, and are packed full of decisions, but all you can do is go with the flow. You can't change other people's minds without them making that decision first. Just hang int there, and if you want her back, slowly ease into it. She might want you back, but you should try to be her friend before making any decisions. Good luck. :) I hope I helped.
