"Clue" movie question: is this true about Colonel Mustard?

He was feeling fairly high-strung after having some of his dirty laundry exposed about why he was being blackmailed...those glaring photograph negatives, etc, etc. I think that stuff fed his tension and was beginning to slowly come unglued and behave like that.
