How do you 'finger crochet' an edge for a fleece blanket?

I'm working with Project Linus and for their fleece blankets, they are requesting that you make a braided edge on the blankets by sewing the hem in, cutting it, and 'finger crocheting' one loop inside the other. I have searched high and low for a picture of what they are meaning with 'one loop inside the other', but I can't find a photo anywhere. Does anybody have one I could see to know exactly what they mean? Or perhaps a website that shows step-by-step? Thanks!
