Confusing situation.?

With out knowing the Vague reason the recruiter gave you it is hard to say WTF but I suggest contacting the Recruiter station commander and see if he can clarify what is going on. As long as you paper work is in order and you have no issues you should have shipped on time. As far as the officers getting in it I would just talk to your recruiters boss and go from there. A lot of times if you tell them you are going to go to the Marine corp or another service they will tell you you cant you have a contract and try to Spook you in to doing as they want you to, but you do not have to. You have the choice of going to an other service until the day you sign in at you BCT reception station. i would tell them that you are going to the USMC if you do not ship on time and see if they change there tune. Keep in mind if you ship latter their may be a Bonus in it or you may loose one so check in to it closely
