Aim wont let me sign on my main screen name?!?

i have 2 screen names for AIM (aol instent messanger) and when i try to sign on my main screen name it says Connection Timed Out but i log in with an older SN and it works fine..... so i tried to log in on meebo and aim express same thing, have i been banned?
