Can you sleep comfortably on a double papasan?

Hi, I was thinking about buying a futon and a papasan chair, but now I'm wondering if I should just combine the 2 ideas and get a double papasan chair instead. Do you know if a double papasan is big enough for 1 person to sleep on? If you took the cushion off and threw it on the floor, could 2 people sleep on it? How easily does the cushion come on and off? Thanks--I live pretty far from a Pier 1 so would like to save myself the trip if it's not worth it...or the heartache of ordering it online and then not being happy with it.
