Has your toddler ever done something so sweet it made you cry?

Today a SPCA commercial came on. It was the one where Willie Nelson is singing Always On My Mind and it has the saddest looking dogs. My two year old is happily playing, sees it and points and says doggie. He keeps watching it, his smile drops and he says, oh sad doggie. I've never seen him recognize an emotion like that. The dogs looked so sad that alone might make you cry but when he did that I was done. Please share your stories.
