What does this poem mean to you? Critiques welcome.?

the ending is confusing because it says that one ignores god b/c he's already such a success technically yet, he ignores god but looks up to heaven and the other one, a "failure" looks up to god for help and success as his brother yet he heads down towards hell, its too confusing 4 me!
