Why did the women in bush cabinet keep shielding him from critics,are they shameless?

you know ,Monica Goodling, Condi Rice, Karen Hughes, Harriet Miers ,are they stupid like their boss or they just want to get a high position.i never have heard of cheney or rumsfield or other men in the admin kept defending bush.This moron didn't deserve it.
